Battery capacity is how much current, for how long a battery can give.
It must be reported in Watt Hour, but since voltage is fixed, it is usually reported in Amp Hour.
The power consumption of a device is typically calculated using:
total = data acquisition + data processing + data transfer + system management
Which is reported in Watt.
Power supply is highly dependent on the area of application and location.
